Call before you drive out
Fairbanks gardens wait on the ground, not the clock — the season starts when it starts. Call before you drive out and we will tell you what is ready and when the gate is open.
Weekends are busy at the benches. A quick call saves a wasted trip and gets you the plants you came for.
Where to find us
780 Sheep Creek Road Fairbanks, AK 99709
Out past the edge of town, where there is room for greenhouses and rows. Load the car at the gate and head home with the plants still cold from the morning.
Before you drive
Do the frost dates first — the growing season runs roughly Memorial Day to early September. Bring the truck if you are buying flats, and keep plants out of the wind on the way home.
